He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!One of Barney's Tree SpiritsChair Carving - Barney hunts for days to find just the right piece of wood to make a unique carving.IMG_7800liquorstillcarvingIMG_776359214_102804283115027_100001563669413_19506_3309156_nimg_9464IMG_7706IMG_7700band-at-bus-reneesBarneyimg_9462img_9431IMG_7774img_944559069_102803143115141_100001563669413_19462_4141883_nimg_9417barrelltennroomIMG_7790smallmushroomlampfloridaroomlampIMG_7694IMG_7709img_941861800_102802849781837_100001563669413_19453_7128820_nimg_9421tennesseeroom57890_102803419781780_100001563669413_19477_4323498_nIMG_7734-1img_9477Barney Barnwellimg_941959086_102803623115093_100001563669413_19484_1719563_nimg_9420IMG_7798texasbed61155_102803759781746_100001563669413_19490_144431_nimg_9451IMG_7673Roger Padgett of EvergreenOwlMushroom Bed with Statue Carvings at HeadboardIMG_7801IMG_7797l_6b8420341ff64c758b30cde447d9f9b4-1IMG_7738IMG_7734IMG_773762569_102803336448455_100001563669413_19470_2393712_nimg_944761379_102802996448489_100001563669413_19458_4436625_nimg_9489img_9466We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!
