We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!IMG_7694BarneyIMG_7665IMG_773859215_102802799781842_100001563669413_19451_3293287_nIMG_7732IMG_7756IMG_7753IMG_7798img_9466img_9478img_941761320_102803456448443_100001563669413_19479_6064439_n59086_102803623115093_100001563669413_19484_1719563_nTracy Wyatt of South85img_9556img_032563337_102803319781790_100001563669413_19469_6280166_nSouth85img_9444Barneyl_6b8420341ff64c758b30cde447d9f9b4-1img_9516Barneyimg_9463img_9432IMG_7796Chair Carving - Barney hunts for days to find just the right piece of wood to make a unique carving.IMG_7667IMG_7767img_9452IMG_7737img_953661830_102803699781752_100001563669413_19489_1241861_nIMG_7787IMG_7734-1Lodging_PrimitiveCamping_WebIMG_766862910_102803499781772_100001563669413_19481_7946044_nIMG_7733band-at-renees59941_102804116448377_100001563669413_19501_6839145_n59346_102803479781774_100001563669413_19480_1443949_nimg_9489texasroombeerimg_9437IMG_7688masonjarcarvingIMG_7736-1img_9447IMG_7750IMG_7766img_9473IMG_7774IMG_7788img_9418One of Barney's Tree Spiritsimg_9451img_9435Roger Padgett of Evergreen59069_102803143115141_100001563669413_19462_4141883_ntheplumhollowbandimg_949561835_102803103115145_100001563669413_19461_6379650_nimg_9577img_9448The Plum Hollow BandIMG_7706img_9455img_9441IMG_7672Mammer's Table59868_102803073115148_100001563669413_19460_879236_nMike Bader of South85Barney BarnwellBarney BarnwellIMG_7763img_9421Barney Barnwellliquorstillcarvingimg_953458581_102803279781794_100001563669413_19468_2425823_nimg_9561IMG_7673img_0324img_9476img_9449img_9433IMG_7700IMG_7762IMG_7701This was George (the Possum’s) first “Black Tie” affair. He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!img_9422IMG_7801img_946458442_102803396448449_100001563669413_19476_5844377_n
