We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!IMG_7670Barney Barnwell63337_102803319781790_100001563669413_19469_6280166_nimg_9491img_9536BarneyIMG_7801IMG_7762img_9433img_9496img_9444IMG_7717barrelltennroomimg_9420IMG_7791img_9497The Plum Hollow BandIMG_767361274_102802879781834_100001563669413_19454_1655830_nwww.moonshiners.com58638_102804036448385_100001563669413_19499_2931252_nIMG_7668img_9432liquorstillcarvingIMG_7672img_944362759_102803913115064_100001563669413_19495_6117789_n61155_102803759781746_100001563669413_19490_144431_nIMG_7714IMG_7797IMG_7703OwlChristy & Jaredimg_9464IMG_7788img_9484One of Barney's Tree Spirits59868_102803073115148_100001563669413_19460_879236_nIMG_7795img_9467PlumHollow Page 4 InsideIMG_7800img_9500IMG_7798IMG_776159215_102802799781842_100001563669413_19451_3293287_nIMG_7730IMG_770861835_102803103115145_100001563669413_19461_6379650_nRoger Padgett of EvergreenBarneyLodging_PrimitiveCamping_Web59069_102803143115141_100001563669413_19462_4141883_nOne of Barney's Tree Spiritsnew-bustennesseeroom59941_102804116448377_100001563669413_19501_6839145_nmasonjarcarvingimg_9417IMG_7779img_9481img_942458442_102803396448449_100001563669413_19476_5844377_nIMG_768658746_102803029781819_100001563669413_19459_4988976_nl_6b8420341ff64c758b30cde447d9f9b4-1img_944962910_102803499781772_100001563669413_19481_7946044_nIMG_7790img_9463One of Barney's Tree Spiritsimg_9534img_9508IMG_7738Chair Carving - Barney hunts for days to find just the right piece of wood to make a unique carving. This was George (the Possum’s) first “Black Tie” affair. He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it.
