He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!img_9448Owlimg_9420img_0324img_9418img_9508img_9466IMG_7801img_9463IMG_7795IMG_7664Mike Bader of South8563337_102803319781790_100001563669413_19469_6280166_nimg_9436Barney BarnwellIMG_7750Barney BarnwellIMG_7779Black SnakeIMG_7703IMG_770959069_102803143115141_100001563669413_19462_4141883_nimg_9435Barney Barnwellimg_9479IMG_7737IMG_7736-1IMG_7778img_9450Barney & Georgeimg_9484One of Barney's Tree SpiritsIMG_7766img_9476texasbed59318_102803536448435_100001563669413_19482_2106243_nimg_0325img_9460img_9424Barney61835_102803103115145_100001563669413_19461_6379650_nIMG_7798img_9437img_9456img_943158746_102803029781819_100001563669413_19459_4988976_nOne of Barney's Tree Spiritsimg_942162569_102803336448455_100001563669413_19470_2393712_nband-at-reneesBarney Barnwellimg_9475IMG_770159214_102804283115027_100001563669413_19506_3309156_nMammer's Tableimg_9433img_9419IMG_7686IMG_7762IMG_7673IMG_7753IMG_7763masonjarcarvingimg_9417IMG_7757l_6b8420341ff64c758b30cde447d9f9b4-1img_9451IMG_7756BarneyPlumHollow Page 4 InsideIMG_7797texasroomIMG_7708img_9445img_9477img_9534barrelltennroomwww.moonshiners.comIMG_7705liquorstillcarvingimg_9489We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!img_944362759_102803913115064_100001563669413_19495_6117789_n59215_102802799781842_100001563669413_19451_3293287_nimg_9423img_9440IMG_7800new-busIMG_779461081_102803879781734_100001563669413_19494_6885807_nChristy & Jaredimg_956159086_102803623115093_100001563669413_19484_1719563_nThe Plum Hollow Bandimg_9577IMG_7791Barneyimg_9465Roger Padgett of EvergreenIMG_7790img_0326IMG_773861274_102802879781834_100001563669413_19454_1655830_nimg_9496img_9499IMG_7730floridaroombedBarney BarnwellIMG_7668IMG_7720-1Kathy Noonan of South85Lodging_RVEntrance_WebIMG_769459346_102803479781774_100001563669413_19480_1443949_nimg_9462img_9481band-at-bus-reneesChair Carving - Barney hunts for days to find just the right piece of wood to make a unique carving.IMG_7669
