We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!61155_102803759781746_100001563669413_19490_144431_nimg_9481One of Barney's Tree Spiritsimg_9451Roger Padgett of Evergreen61686_102804323115023_100001563669413_19507_165049_nIMG_7756One of Barney's Tree SpiritsBarney & Georgeimg_9478IMG_7794band-at-bus-reneesIMG_7800img_9449IMG_7667img_9473Barney BarnwellBarneyIMG_7797img_9466img_9423Chair Carving - Barney hunts for days to find just the right piece of wood to make a unique carving.IMG_7798img_9467img_953461800_102802849781837_100001563669413_19453_7128820_nIMG_7714This was George (the Possum’s) first “Black Tie” affair. He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!img_9460img_9455IMG_7732IMG_7778
