He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!59868_102803073115148_100001563669413_19460_879236_nIMG_7704img_9431Chair Carving - Barney hunts for days to find just the right piece of wood to make a unique carving.IMG_7795img_9451img_947861835_102803103115145_100001563669413_19461_6379650_nimg_9534IMG_7667IMG_7738Mammer's Tableimg_9445img_9432IMG_7758Barney & GeorgeIMG_7722-1img_9447IMG_7708l_6b8420341ff64c758b30cde447d9f9b4-1IMG_7670IMG_7797IMG_7672img_946459069_102803143115141_100001563669413_19462_4141883_nimg_9456We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer.
