He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!Barney Barnwellimg_9447IMG_7695img_9536img_9435IMG_7674img_945661320_102803456448443_100001563669413_19479_6064439_nbunkbeds2BarneyWe used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!IMG_7753One of Barney's Tree SpiritsRoger Padgett of Evergreenimg_9460IMG_779561155_102803759781746_100001563669413_19490_144431_nBarney & George58638_102804036448385_100001563669413_19499_2931252_nIMG_7703IMG_7796IMG_7720-1img_9484img_9481img_9436IMG_7736-1img_9420Barney BarnwellfloridaroomIMG_776058511_102803569781765_100001563669413_19483_3897565_nIMG_768358746_102803029781819_100001563669413_19459_4988976_nIMG_7704Barney BarnwellIMG_7794IMG_776261274_102802879781834_100001563669413_19454_1655830_nOne of Barney's Tree Spirits60363_102803236448465_100001563669413_19466_6508572_nIMG_7750img_9473img_9496img_9445img_9497smallmushroomlampimg_9441img_9464IMG_778861830_102803699781752_100001563669413_19489_1241861_nimg_9450texasroombeerIMG_7751Lodging_PrimitiveCamping_WebIMG_7694IMG_7766IMG_7774img_0325texasbed61356_102802963115159_100001563669413_19457_3408817_nimg_9452Mike Bader of South8557890_102803419781780_100001563669413_19477_4323498_nimg_9561texasroomwww.moonshiners.comliquorstillcarvingimg_9449IMG_773761835_102803103115145_100001563669413_19461_6379650_nIMG_7700IMG_7730IMG_7670Barneyimg_9474img_9556IMG_7793new-bus59868_102803073115148_100001563669413_19460_879236_nimg_9534img_9478band-at-bus-reneesl_6b8420341ff64c758b30cde447d9f9b4-1IMG_7690www.moonshiners.comIMG_7801img_9422IMG_7734IMG_7778img_9418img_0326Barney BarnwellIMG_779759346_102803479781774_100001563669413_19480_1443949_nIMG_7757IMG_776762569_102803336448455_100001563669413_19470_2393712_n59069_102803143115141_100001563669413_19462_4141883_nChair Carving - Barney hunts for days to find just the right piece of wood to make a unique carving.
