He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!img_947961655_102803256448463_100001563669413_19467_7273224_nBarney Barnwellimg_9474img_9478img_945263337_102803319781790_100001563669413_19469_6280166_nIMG_7669BarneyBarney Barnwellimg_9431img_9423img_945161274_102802879781834_100001563669413_19454_1655830_n61320_102803456448443_100001563669413_19479_6064439_nfloridaroombedimg_9437One of Barney's Tree Spirits58581_102803279781794_100001563669413_19468_2425823_nimg_0324IMG_7766Mike Bader of South85img_9460theplumhollowbandIMG_7757We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer.
