He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!IMG_7722-1IMG_7760We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!IMG_7787IMG_7703Barneyimg_9534img_9448img_9476IMG_7779img_9475img_9497img_9491IMG_7737img_9495IMG_7788IMG_7756IMG_7709img_0324Barney BarnwellIMG_7758img_9466l_6b8420341ff64c758b30cde447d9f9b4-1One of Barney's Tree SpiritsTracy Wyatt of South8558638_102804036448385_100001563669413_19499_2931252_n62569_102803336448455_100001563669413_19470_2393712_nimg_9508img_955661800_102802849781837_100001563669413_19453_7128820_nIMG_7714tennesseeroomimg_9484img_9424www.moonshiners.comimg_9462The Plum Hollow BandtexasroomliquorstillcarvingBarney & Georgeimg_946561155_102803759781746_100001563669413_19490_144431_nIMG_7695IMG_7766Barneysmallmushroomlampband-at-bus-reneesIMG_7800IMG_7673IMG_770659069_102803143115141_100001563669413_19462_4141883_nimg_9481IMG_7700IMG_7694img_9440IMG_7672img_9561img_9422img_9463Barney & GeorgeIMG_7736-1img_942363337_102803319781790_100001563669413_19469_6280166_n62759_102803913115064_100001563669413_19495_6117789_nIMG_766761081_102803879781734_100001563669413_19494_6885807_n59086_102803623115093_100001563669413_19484_1719563_n61686_102804323115023_100001563669413_19507_165049_nBarney BarnwellIMG_7763Mammer's Tableimg_9451img_9536One of Barney's Tree Spirits61830_102803699781752_100001563669413_19489_1241861_nimg_9435band-at-renees58442_102803396448449_100001563669413_19476_5844377_nLodging_PrimitiveCamping_WebIMG_7757IMG_7778Christy & Jaredimg_9447IMG_7720-1IMG_7762img_9461IMG_7717PlumHollow Page 4 Inside59941_102804116448377_100001563669413_19501_6839145_nKathy Noonan of South8561320_102803456448443_100001563669413_19479_6064439_n60363_102803236448465_100001563669413_19466_6508572_nBarney BarnwellRoger Padgett of EvergreenIMG_7761img_941759214_102804283115027_100001563669413_19506_3309156_nimg_9460IMG_7732img_9441IMG_7798img_9456img_9478IMG_7733
