He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!img_9420img_945261155_102803759781746_100001563669413_19490_144431_nBarneyimg_942461356_102802963115159_100001563669413_19457_3408817_nimg_9473img_9448IMG_7722-1Mammer's Tableimg_9476IMG_7763IMG_7704img_9577BarneyIMG_7736-1img_9450img_949961655_102803256448463_100001563669413_19467_7273224_nimg_941961379_102802996448489_100001563669413_19458_4436625_nimg_9449One of Barney's Tree Spirits58511_102803569781765_100001563669413_19483_3897565_nimg_9456IMG_7778Barney Barnwell61835_102803103115145_100001563669413_19461_6379650_nimg_9431img_9433img_9461IMG_770158638_102804036448385_100001563669413_19499_2931252_nIMG_7700img_9467IMG_7766IMG_7791IMG_7686We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!Barney Barnwellimg_9478
