He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!img_9473img_9431img_9577liquorstillcarvingimg_9491floridaroom61800_102802849781837_100001563669413_19453_7128820_nimg_9465img_9561img_9436img_9496img_9460img_9441img_9479Barney61356_102802963115159_100001563669413_19457_3408817_nimg_948058638_102804036448385_100001563669413_19499_2931252_nimg_9435img_9447IMG_7701Owlimg_9432Barney BarnwellIMG_768862759_102803913115064_100001563669413_19495_6117789_n59318_102803536448435_100001563669413_19482_2106243_nIMG_7756PlumHollow Page 4 Insideimg_9463IMG_7734IMG_7762band-at-reneesIMG_7708IMG_7690Barney BarnwellMike Bader of South85IMG_7760IMG_7668Tracy Wyatt of South85img_9536IMG_7761img_9461IMG_7715IMG_7667IMG_7664img_9556img_0324bunkbeds2tennesseeroomIMG_7705img_9420IMG_7757img_9452Barney BarnwellIMG_7758barrelltennroom61155_102803759781746_100001563669413_19490_144431_nimg_9467We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!BarneyRoger Padgett of EvergreenOne of Barney's Tree Spirits59086_102803623115093_100001563669413_19484_1719563_nimg_9476IMG_7714Barney BarnwellMushroom Bed with Statue Carvings at HeadboardBarney & Georgeimg_9455The Plum Hollow Bandimg_9466IMG_7738IMG_7683IMG_7753IMG_7791img_9499Barney Barnwellimg_9421www.moonshiners.com59346_102803479781774_100001563669413_19480_1443949_nIMG_7709IMG_7774img_9443Lodging_CampingBigField_WebChair Carving - Barney hunts for days to find just the right piece of wood to make a unique carving.img_946258581_102803279781794_100001563669413_19468_2425823_n61320_102803456448443_100001563669413_19479_6064439_nimg_953462910_102803499781772_100001563669413_19481_7946044_n61830_102803699781752_100001563669413_19489_1241861_nIMG_7670
