He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!IMG_7800IMG_7667img_948159215_102802799781842_100001563669413_19451_3293287_nimg_9467GroundhogIMG_7722-1img_9436IMG_7736-1img_944362759_102803913115064_100001563669413_19495_6117789_nMammer's Tableimg_9466img_0326Barney Barnwellimg_9460img_9451img_9424l_6b8420341ff64c758b30cde447d9f9b4-1img_9418IMG_7734-1img_956159069_102803143115141_100001563669413_19462_4141883_nimg_9456We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer.
