He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!IMG_7793img_9433IMG_7701OwlIMG_7796Black Snakeband-at-reneesIMG_7672IMG_7705img_0326IMG_780158511_102803569781765_100001563669413_19483_3897565_nIMG_767359318_102803536448435_100001563669413_19482_2106243_nimg_9475img_9437floridaroomIMG_7791BarneyIMG_7797bunkbeds2img_9450img_9419img_9441img_945257890_102803419781780_100001563669413_19477_4323498_n61835_102803103115145_100001563669413_19461_6379650_nimg_9577Barneyimg_9476IMG_7756img_9456img_9473Lodging_PrimitiveCamping_Web62910_102803499781772_100001563669413_19481_7946044_nIMG_7734-1IMG_7669One of Barney's Tree Spiritsimg_949661081_102803879781734_100001563669413_19494_6885807_nIMG_777961655_102803256448463_100001563669413_19467_7273224_n62759_102803913115064_100001563669413_19495_6117789_nsmallmushroomlampIMG_7700masonjarcarvingIMG_7694IMG_7758img_9432img_9424We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!IMG_7761IMG_779559346_102803479781774_100001563669413_19480_1443949_nimg_9500img_9460img_9444Barney BarnwellIMG_7757Roger Padgett of EvergreenIMG_773858638_102804036448385_100001563669413_19499_2931252_nBarney Barnwellbunkbeds61274_102802879781834_100001563669413_19454_1655830_nLodging_RVEntrance_WebIMG_7683IMG_7788IMG_7751Mike Bader of South85IMG_7800Barney BarnwellIMG_7730img_9440theplumhollowbandimg_9451Chair Carving - Barney hunts for days to find just the right piece of wood to make a unique carving.IMG_7703IMG_7762IMG_7709img_9466img_9561img_9448One of Barney's Tree Spiritsimg_9461Barneywww.moonshiners.comimg_9491Barney BarnwellBarney BarnwellIMG_7715img_946461830_102803699781752_100001563669413_19489_1241861_nimg_9556liquorstillcarving
