He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!IMG_7733img_9423img_9465img_944461379_102802996448489_100001563669413_19458_4436625_nChristy & Jaredimg_943662759_102803913115064_100001563669413_19495_6117789_nOwlband-at-reneesIMG_7670img_9500img_9437IMG_7686One of Barney's Tree Spiritsimg_9461Roger Padgett of EvergreenIMG_7717IMG_7794img_9473One of Barney's Tree Spiritsimg_9449IMG_7788IMG_7667IMG_7703IMG_7736-1IMG_773458638_102804036448385_100001563669413_19499_2931252_n61686_102804323115023_100001563669413_19507_165049_nimg_9432Barney BarnwellIMG_776759346_102803479781774_100001563669413_19480_1443949_nimg_9491img_0324img_9534IMG_7706img_9424IMG_7757IMG_7708BarneyIMG_780061830_102803699781752_100001563669413_19489_1241861_n61800_102802849781837_100001563669413_19453_7128820_nwww.moonshiners.comMammer's Table57890_102803419781780_100001563669413_19477_4323498_nIMG_7672img_9467We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!IMG_7804IMG_7761Roger Padgett of Evergreenimg_9556img_9421theplumhollowbandimg_9476Barneyimg_9462img_9474img_9456img_9441IMG_7705img_9481img_9577Chair Carving - Barney hunts for days to find just the right piece of wood to make a unique carving.IMG_7694IMG_7722-1liquorstillcarvingimg_9499img_946461655_102803256448463_100001563669413_19467_7273224_nimg_944759318_102803536448435_100001563669413_19482_2106243_nGroundhog61274_102802879781834_100001563669413_19454_1655830_nbunkbedsTracy Wyatt of South85One of Barney's Tree Spirits59868_102803073115148_100001563669413_19460_879236_nIMG_7701IMG_7797IMG_7665Lodging_PrimitiveCamping_WebIMG_7760img_0326img_9431IMG_7796img_9536img_9422texasroomfloridaroomlampsmallmushroomlamp61320_102803456448443_100001563669413_19479_6064439_n
