He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!img_943759214_102804283115027_100001563669413_19506_3309156_ntexasroom59868_102803073115148_100001563669413_19460_879236_nimg_9422new-bus61155_102803759781746_100001563669413_19490_144431_nBarney Barnwellimg_9467Barney & Georgeimg_9423IMG_7700img_9495img_9496band-at-bus-reneesimg_945261320_102803456448443_100001563669413_19479_6064439_nIMG_7790IMG_7757IMG_7788IMG_7766IMG_7794IMG_7668img_9461IMG_7701img_9417IMG_7672IMG_7703IMG_7751IMG_7734IMG_7733IMG_7797IMG_7715We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer.
