We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!IMG_7788img_9489img_9456IMG_7760IMG_7670BarneyIMG_7758img_9479img_9417img_9449tennesseeroomIMG_7756IMG_7700IMG_7762img_948463337_102803319781790_100001563669413_19469_6280166_n61830_102803699781752_100001563669413_19489_1241861_nBarneyimg_9473smallmushroomlampIMG_7751img_946358442_102803396448449_100001563669413_19476_5844377_nIMG_7673Christy & JaredIMG_7804l_6b8420341ff64c758b30cde447d9f9b4-1img_9465IMG_7798floridaroomcouchIMG_7715IMG_7795IMG_7797IMG_7704Barney BarnwellOne of Barney's Tree Spirits61356_102802963115159_100001563669413_19457_3408817_nChair Carving - Barney hunts for days to find just the right piece of wood to make a unique carving.Barney & GeorgeBarneyimg_9464img_9445IMG_7664Barneyimg_9476Barney Barnwell60363_102803236448465_100001563669413_19466_6508572_nIMG_7767The Plum Hollow BandIMG_7732img_9480IMG_7757Lodging_CampingBigField_WebBarney BarnwellRoger Padgett of EvergreenIMG_7763www.moonshiners.comimg_941861655_102803256448463_100001563669413_19467_7273224_nimg_9450img_9516theplumhollowbandimg_9496IMG_7665IMG_7734IMG_7688IMG_7668floridaroomIMG_7736-1Barney & GeorgeIMG_7686img_0325South8559868_102803073115148_100001563669413_19460_879236_nimg_949159215_102802799781842_100001563669413_19451_3293287_nimg_9495www.moonshiners.comimg_9435IMG_7790IMG_7791IMG_7674IMG_773759941_102804116448377_100001563669413_19501_6839145_nimg_9431barrelltennroomThis was George (the Possum’s) first “Black Tie” affair. He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!IMG_780161800_102802849781837_100001563669413_19453_7128820_nimg_9420IMG_7701
