  • We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!img_9462l_6b8420341ff64c758b30cde447d9f9b4-161379_102802996448489_100001563669413_19458_4436625_n61320_102803456448443_100001563669413_19479_6064439_nimg_9419IMG_7673floridaroombedBarneyBarney BarnwellIMG_768361686_102804323115023_100001563669413_19507_165049_nBarneyPlumHollow Page 4 Insideimg_9496IMG_7714Barney62569_102803336448455_100001563669413_19470_2393712_nMike Bader of South85One of Barney's Tree Spiritstheplumhollowband58511_102803569781765_100001563669413_19483_3897565_nimg_9477IMG_7801IMG_7700img_953659318_102803536448435_100001563669413_19482_2106243_nIMG_766563337_102803319781790_100001563669413_19469_6280166_nimg_9452One of Barney's Tree SpiritsChair Carving - Barney hunts for days to find just the right piece of wood to make a unique carving.img_9481img_9474IMG_775659868_102803073115148_100001563669413_19460_879236_nimg_9561img_945061274_102802879781834_100001563669413_19454_1655830_n57890_102803419781780_100001563669413_19477_4323498_nIMG_7788IMG_7774img_9448IMG_7715IMG_7757Barney BarnwellIMG_7758IMG_7796Roger Padgett of Evergreen61655_102803256448463_100001563669413_19467_7273224_nIMG_7708Barney & DebbieIMG_7720-1new-busBarney Barnwellimg_943361155_102803759781746_100001563669413_19490_144431_nimg_9465img_9577IMG_7722-1BarneyIMG_7763IMG_7753IMG_7688img_943559214_102804283115027_100001563669413_19506_3309156_nIMG_7701IMG_7674IMG_773759346_102803479781774_100001563669413_19480_1443949_nimg_9479IMG_7668GroundhogIMG_766761983_102803196448469_100001563669413_19465_3935379_nIMG_7730img_9449IMG_7734img_9508South85IMG_7791IMG_7800masonjarcarvingOwlMammer's Tableimg_9437IMG_7734-1img_9484IMG_7779IMG_7664IMG_7686IMG_7733img_9480texasroombeerMushroom Bed with Statue Carvings at HeadboardtennesseeroomIMG_7794The Plum Hollow Band59069_102803143115141_100001563669413_19462_4141883_nimg_9455img_9497Lodging_PrimitiveCamping_WebIMG_7760img_9467IMG_7797IMG_7695IMG_7738img_9464BarneyIMG_7732img_9422img_9556Black Snake58442_102803396448449_100001563669413_19476_5844377_nBarney Barnwell58638_102804036448385_100001563669413_19499_2931252_n59215_102802799781842_100001563669413_19451_3293287_n62910_102803499781772_100001563669413_19481_7946044_nimg_9421IMG_7767IMG_7736-1Barney & Georgeimg_943161800_102802849781837_100001563669413_19453_7128820_nimg_9489band-at-bus-reneesIMG_7766img_9476One of Barney's Tree SpiritsIMG_7750IMG_7751img_9424img_9475IMG_7669IMG_7706img_9443img_949561356_102802963115159_100001563669413_19457_3408817_nIMG_7672img_946061081_102803879781734_100001563669413_19494_6885807_nBarney BarnwellRoger Padgett of Evergreenimg_9436Lodging_RVEntrance_WebIMG_7694img_9491img_9500img_953461835_102803103115145_100001563669413_19461_6379650_nOne of Barney's Tree Spirits61830_102803699781752_100001563669413_19489_1241861_nIMG_7795texasroomIMG_7670IMG_7778IMG_771758746_102803029781819_100001563669413_19459_4988976_nimg_9473band-at-reneesimg_9463img_0324img_9441smallmushroomlampliquorstillcarvingIMG_770560363_102803236448465_100001563669413_19466_6508572_nimg_9451IMG_7703img_9478floridaroomlampimg_9445img_9420floridaroomTracy Wyatt of South85IMG_7790img_951662759_102803913115064_100001563669413_19495_6117789_nimg_0326BarneyIMG_7704img_9461img_9456Barney Barnwellimg_9418img_9423IMG_7793barrelltennroomBarney BarnwellThis was George (the Possum’s) first “Black Tie” affair. He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it.
