He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!img_9418Barney Barnwellimg_9481IMG_7704l_6b8420341ff64c758b30cde447d9f9b4-158581_102803279781794_100001563669413_19468_2425823_nimg_9419img_9475img_9473img_9436The Plum Hollow Bandimg_9437IMG_766859868_102803073115148_100001563669413_19460_879236_nimg_9508Roger Padgett of Evergreenimg_9577img_9478img_9499IMG_7788One of Barney's Tree Spiritsimg_947458442_102803396448449_100001563669413_19476_5844377_nimg_9451Barneyimg_9449IMG_7797OwlIMG_7760IMG_7790IMG_7762texasroom61320_102803456448443_100001563669413_19479_6064439_nBarney Barnwellbunkbeds2IMG_7690img_9455IMG_7715floridaroomcouchIMG_7730img_9448img_9465IMG_7794img_9467img_9489Mike Bader of South85Roger Padgett of EvergreenIMG_7801img_949762910_102803499781772_100001563669413_19481_7946044_n61686_102804323115023_100001563669413_19507_165049_nBarney Barnwellwww.moonshiners.comimg_9444Christy & JaredIMG_7705img_032561155_102803759781746_100001563669413_19490_144431_nnew-busGroundhogSouth85img_0324IMG_7737IMG_7733img_946359086_102803623115093_100001563669413_19484_1719563_nimg_9480Barney & GeorgeIMG_7700IMG_7688IMG_7791img_945661655_102803256448463_100001563669413_19467_7273224_nimg_9477img_9443Barney BarnwellMushroom Bed with Statue Carvings at HeadboardIMG_7787IMG_773457890_102803419781780_100001563669413_19477_4323498_nIMG_7673img_9500img_9433img_9476IMG_7734-1liquorstillcarvingtheplumhollowbandBarneyTracy Wyatt of South85Barney61356_102802963115159_100001563669413_19457_3408817_nBarney Barnwellimg_9491img_945261081_102803879781734_100001563669413_19494_6885807_n60363_102803236448465_100001563669413_19466_6508572_nWe used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl! One of Barney's Tree Spiritsimg_943158746_102803029781819_100001563669413_19459_4988976_n
