  • img_9464img_9479IMG_7664IMG_7758We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!62569_102803336448455_100001563669413_19470_2393712_nIMG_7767One of Barney's Tree SpiritsliquorstillcarvingRoger Padgett of EvergreenIMG_7797img_9461IMG_7683IMG_7714img_9478IMG_7790IMG_778861835_102803103115145_100001563669413_19461_6379650_nimg_9436IMG_7757Mike Bader of South85Christy & Jared59941_102804116448377_100001563669413_19501_6839145_nIMG_7670IMG_7695GroundhogIMG_7796IMG_770159069_102803143115141_100001563669413_19462_4141883_nIMG_7778IMG_777460363_102803236448465_100001563669413_19466_6508572_n62759_102803913115064_100001563669413_19495_6117789_nIMG_769461320_102803456448443_100001563669413_19479_6064439_nBarney BarnwellThis was George (the Possum’s) first “Black Tie” affair. He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it.
