  • BarneyThis was George (the Possum’s) first “Black Tie” affair. He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!img_9462img_9499texasbedIMG_770359215_102802799781842_100001563669413_19451_3293287_nBarney BarnwellIMG_775160363_102803236448465_100001563669413_19466_6508572_nIMG_7700IMG_7683Barneytheplumhollowband62759_102803913115064_100001563669413_19495_6117789_nIMG_7717texasroomliquorstillcarvingIMG_7708band-at-bus-reneesimg_9496l_6b8420341ff64c758b30cde447d9f9b4-159346_102803479781774_100001563669413_19480_1443949_nWe used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer.
