  • img_9473IMG_7734We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!img_9460IMG_7700IMG_7715IMG_775158581_102803279781794_100001563669413_19468_2425823_nIMG_7774img_9417img_9484Lodging_RVEntrance_Webimg_9455Barney Barnwell61356_102802963115159_100001563669413_19457_3408817_nRoger Padgett of EvergreenBarney59868_102803073115148_100001563669413_19460_879236_nmasonjarcarvingimg_0325img_9420IMG_7717img_9508new-busimg_9421img_941961155_102803759781746_100001563669413_19490_144431_nimg_9449Lodging_PrimitiveCamping_Webimg_9561IMG_7664Barney Barnwell61379_102802996448489_100001563669413_19458_4436625_nIMG_779061686_102804323115023_100001563669413_19507_165049_nIMG_7800IMG_7709IMG_769458746_102803029781819_100001563669413_19459_4988976_nimg_0324img_9445img_9577img_9489img_947661081_102803879781734_100001563669413_19494_6885807_nOne of Barney's Tree SpiritsBarneyIMG_7695img_9478img_9443img_947961274_102802879781834_100001563669413_19454_1655830_nimg_9440IMG_7688IMG_7668BarneyThe Plum Hollow BandtheplumhollowbandIMG_778761800_102802849781837_100001563669413_19453_7128820_n59086_102803623115093_100001563669413_19484_1719563_nimg_9496IMG_7670www.moonshiners.comOwl60363_102803236448465_100001563669413_19466_6508572_nIMG_770559318_102803536448435_100001563669413_19482_2106243_n62569_102803336448455_100001563669413_19470_2393712_n61983_102803196448469_100001563669413_19465_3935379_nBarneyimg_9431IMG_7690img_9423img_9433img_942261835_102803103115145_100001563669413_19461_6379650_ntexasroomThis was George (the Possum’s) first “Black Tie” affair. He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it.
