  • We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!Tracy Wyatt of South85IMG_7798IMG_7715img_949661655_102803256448463_100001563669413_19467_7273224_nimg_9423img_9479IMG_776058581_102803279781794_100001563669413_19468_2425823_nfloridaroomlampimg_9477Barney BarnwellBarneyband-at-bus-reneesimg_9436img_9481img_9536Barney BarnwellOne of Barney's Tree Spiritsimg_9489IMG_7758img_944059868_102803073115148_100001563669413_19460_879236_nimg_9443img_9447img_9464img_9445img_9556IMG_7757IMG_779161830_102803699781752_100001563669413_19489_1241861_nfloridaroombedKathy Noonan of South85img_9456IMG_7751BarneyRoger Padgett of Evergreensmallmushroomlampbunkbeds61155_102803759781746_100001563669413_19490_144431_nIMG_7704IMG_776158746_102803029781819_100001563669413_19459_4988976_nIMG_7732IMG_7705img_944861686_102804323115023_100001563669413_19507_165049_nIMG_769062569_102803336448455_100001563669413_19470_2393712_nThe Plum Hollow Bandimg_9516Lodging_CampingBigField_Webimg_9480IMG_7737IMG_7703IMG_7778IMG_7797img_946158638_102804036448385_100001563669413_19499_2931252_nimg_9437BarneyIMG_7795IMG_7790IMG_7753floridaroomBarney Barnwellimg_9451IMG_773858511_102803569781765_100001563669413_19483_3897565_nimg_9466Mushroom Bed with Statue Carvings at HeadboardOne of Barney's Tree Spiritsimg_9465IMG_7673masonjarcarving61320_102803456448443_100001563669413_19479_6064439_nband-at-reneesIMG_7800IMG_7674img_943559214_102804283115027_100001563669413_19506_3309156_nbarrelltennroomimg_9561img_9417IMG_7787www.moonshiners.comimg_9421img_9463IMG_7708Lodging_PrimitiveCamping_Web62759_102803913115064_100001563669413_19495_6117789_n62910_102803499781772_100001563669413_19481_7946044_nIMG_7801PlumHollow Page 4 Insideimg_949159215_102802799781842_100001563669413_19451_3293287_nIMG_7750This was George (the Possum’s) first “Black Tie” affair. He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it.
