He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!Barneytennesseeroomimg_946058638_102804036448385_100001563669413_19499_2931252_nSouth85IMG_7734img_9455IMG_7791img_944059215_102802799781842_100001563669413_19451_3293287_nBarney & Georgetheplumhollowband61155_102803759781746_100001563669413_19490_144431_nLodging_PrimitiveCamping_Webbunkbeds262569_102803336448455_100001563669413_19470_2393712_nBarney Barnwellimg_9420img_9443IMG_7760IMG_7767img_9536img_9466IMG_7669IMG_7703IMG_7738img_941961800_102802849781837_100001563669413_19453_7128820_nimg_9462Mammer's Tableimg_9445band-at-reneesimg_9436IMG_7704img_9508One of Barney's Tree SpiritsOwlIMG_7672IMG_7668img_9424img_9452texasbedOne of Barney's Tree Spiritsimg_947759318_102803536448435_100001563669413_19482_2106243_nLodging_CampingBigField_WebbarrelltennroomIMG_780159868_102803073115148_100001563669413_19460_879236_nimg_0324IMG_7688liquorstillcarvingIMG_7694One of Barney's Tree Spirits59941_102804116448377_100001563669413_19501_6839145_nBarney BarnwellIMG_7674img_9561PlumHollow Page 4 InsideIMG_7670Roger Padgett of EvergreenIMG_7779Barney BarnwellIMG_7794Barney BarnwellIMG_7715img_943561274_102802879781834_100001563669413_19454_1655830_nIMG_7800IMG_779662910_102803499781772_100001563669413_19481_7946044_nBarneyimg_0325img_9431IMG_7762IMG_7761img_945661835_102803103115145_100001563669413_19461_6379650_nRoger Padgett of EvergreenIMG_7787img_9479band-at-bus-reneesimg_9476img_9577Barney Barnwellimg_9474img_9437IMG_7714img_9475texasroom59069_102803143115141_100001563669413_19462_4141883_nIMG_7667We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!IMG_7790IMG_773058511_102803569781765_100001563669413_19483_3897565_n61655_102803256448463_100001563669413_19467_7273224_n
