  • South85IMG_7674img_9437We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!IMG_7795img_9443img_942162569_102803336448455_100001563669413_19470_2393712_nIMG_7708IMG_7705img_9489IMG_7751IMG_769061800_102802849781837_100001563669413_19453_7128820_nimg_9473barrelltennroomIMG_7709IMG_7794IMG_7804Chair Carving - Barney hunts for days to find just the right piece of wood to make a unique carving.Barney & Georgeimg_9476Barney Barnwellimg_945658746_102803029781819_100001563669413_19459_4988976_nLodging_CampingBigField_WebIMG_7753tennesseeroomIMG_7733IMG_7760img_945158511_102803569781765_100001563669413_19483_3897565_nimg_941961830_102803699781752_100001563669413_19489_1241861_nBarney Barnwellimg_9422IMG_775061379_102802996448489_100001563669413_19458_4436625_nimg_0325BarneyIMG_7701IMG_7734-1IMG_7734img_9508floridaroombedIMG_7695BarneyMike Bader of South85IMG_7800new-busIMG_7715img_9431Barneyimg_9480IMG_7700bunkbedsIMG_7767IMG_7694BarneyMushroom Bed with Statue Carvings at HeadboardBarney & George59318_102803536448435_100001563669413_19482_2106243_nimg_9465img_9497img_946459086_102803623115093_100001563669413_19484_1719563_nimg_945559941_102804116448377_100001563669413_19501_6839145_n59215_102802799781842_100001563669413_19451_3293287_nBarneyimg_9495Barney BarnwellIMG_779658442_102803396448449_100001563669413_19476_5844377_nimg_9424IMG_7779IMG_771761686_102804323115023_100001563669413_19507_165049_nThis was George (the Possum’s) first “Black Tie” affair. He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it.
