He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!img_9466img_945559868_102803073115148_100001563669413_19460_879236_nBarney Barnwellimg_0325BarneyIMG_7700IMG_7670texasroombeerimg_9577IMG_7798img_9534img_9481img_0326IMG_7708IMG_7706floridaroomIMG_7730img_9500img_9467img_9460Roger Padgett of Evergreenimg_948461800_102802849781837_100001563669413_19453_7128820_n62569_102803336448455_100001563669413_19470_2393712_nIMG_7688img_9475IMG_7694Barney Barnwell58746_102803029781819_100001563669413_19459_4988976_nimg_9465IMG_7778IMG_7734IMG_7756img_9451Barney Barnwellimg_9474IMG_7674IMG_7701Barney Barnwell58442_102803396448449_100001563669413_19476_5844377_nLodging_PrimitiveCamping_WebBarneyBarney BarnwellIMG_7738IMG_7750IMG_7672img_9516Kathy Noonan of South85IMG_7669Mammer's TableBarney & Debbie62759_102803913115064_100001563669413_19495_6117789_nIMG_7763band-at-reneesIMG_7761floridaroomcouchimg_9444Barney Barnwelll_6b8420341ff64c758b30cde447d9f9b4-159941_102804116448377_100001563669413_19501_6839145_nIMG_7668IMG_7734-161830_102803699781752_100001563669413_19489_1241861_nimg_9491IMG_7690img_9418img_9456IMG_7686img_9449img_9422img_9450IMG_7736-1Tracy Wyatt of South85IMG_7797The Plum Hollow BandBlack SnakeIMG_7793Barneyimg_9497IMG_7751IMG_775761274_102802879781834_100001563669413_19454_1655830_nIMG_7801Barney & Georgeliquorstillcarving61983_102803196448469_100001563669413_19465_3935379_nsmallmushroomlampOwlIMG_7790IMG_7664img_9452img_9464IMG_7779Barneyimg_9421img_947859069_102803143115141_100001563669413_19462_4141883_nIMG_7737img_9420Lodging_CampingBigField_WebGroundhogimg_9424texasbedimg_9463Chair Carving - Barney hunts for days to find just the right piece of wood to make a unique carving.img_9462We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!
