He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!img_9484Black SnakeBarney Barnwell59318_102803536448435_100001563669413_19482_2106243_nOne of Barney's Tree Spiritsimg_9467IMG_7778Mike Bader of South85texasroomliquorstillcarvingimg_9455IMG_7761Chair Carving - Barney hunts for days to find just the right piece of wood to make a unique carving.Barney58746_102803029781819_100001563669413_19459_4988976_nIMG_7734-1img_9496Barney BarnwellIMG_779861155_102803759781746_100001563669413_19490_144431_n59069_102803143115141_100001563669413_19462_4141883_n61379_102802996448489_100001563669413_19458_4436625_nBarney Barnwellimg_9449Christy & Jared61686_102804323115023_100001563669413_19507_165049_nKathy Noonan of South8559941_102804116448377_100001563669413_19501_6839145_nimg_9431img_9561IMG_7762Barney BarnwellBarneyimg_9534IMG_7714One of Barney's Tree SpiritsIMG_770159086_102803623115093_100001563669413_19484_1719563_nIMG_7758IMG_7665IMG_7695bunkbeds2Barney & Georgeimg_9474IMG_7800IMG_7794Barney Barnwellimg_9437img_946262759_102803913115064_100001563669413_19495_6117789_nimg_9499IMG_7704img_9435IMG_7751img_9421img_9466IMG_7708IMG_7722-1IMG_7664smallmushroomlamp61800_102802849781837_100001563669413_19453_7128820_nIMG_778858638_102804036448385_100001563669413_19499_2931252_nIMG_7779IMG_7804IMG_7796IMG_769061081_102803879781734_100001563669413_19494_6885807_nIMG_7767img_9433BarneyMammer's TableIMG_7753Owlimg_9420One of Barney's Tree Spiritsnew-busIMG_775758511_102803569781765_100001563669413_19483_3897565_nBarneymasonjarcarvingSouth8559346_102803479781774_100001563669413_19480_1443949_n61356_102802963115159_100001563669413_19457_3408817_nIMG_7760IMG_7801IMG_7791IMG_7737We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!IMG_7688
