He was a little nervous, but the folks at the Grand Opening of Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC were glad he made it. He was the hit of the night… actually I think he had a little too much Shine!!IMG_7791IMG_779461800_102802849781837_100001563669413_19453_7128820_n60363_102803236448465_100001563669413_19466_6508572_n61356_102802963115159_100001563669413_19457_3408817_nIMG_7767IMG_7788tennesseeroomBarney BarnwellPlumHollow Page 4 Inside59214_102804283115027_100001563669413_19506_3309156_nimg_9475IMG_7763IMG_7686IMG_7730IMG_7672IMG_7664IMG_7706img_9484img_9419Barney Barnwelltexasroomimg_9473IMG_7714img_9445IMG_7798The Plum Hollow Bandimg_9440Lodging_PrimitiveCamping_Webimg_9536IMG_7695img_9424IMG_7665img_9417IMG_7753img_9422IMG_7762texasbedimg_9436img_9556IMG_7750l_6b8420341ff64c758b30cde447d9f9b4-1Chair Carving - Barney hunts for days to find just the right piece of wood to make a unique carving.img_9474One of Barney's Tree SpiritsBarneyOwlIMG_7757liquorstillcarvingBarneyIMG_7797img_9423IMG_7795img_9450img_9444IMG_7701smallmushroomlampBarneyimg_9435IMG_770361983_102803196448469_100001563669413_19465_3935379_nIMG_770059215_102802799781842_100001563669413_19451_3293287_nBarneyimg_9441IMG_7737IMG_7674Mike Bader of South8561320_102803456448443_100001563669413_19479_6064439_nimg_9467www.moonshiners.comimg_948061274_102802879781834_100001563669413_19454_1655830_n63337_102803319781790_100001563669413_19469_6280166_nimg_953458511_102803569781765_100001563669413_19483_3897565_nbunkbedsIMG_7717img_9421IMG_7732Barney62569_102803336448455_100001563669413_19470_2393712_nimg_9476img_945657890_102803419781780_100001563669413_19477_4323498_nimg_9448Barney Barnwellimg_9463IMG_7683img_946558638_102804036448385_100001563669413_19499_2931252_nBlack SnakeGroundhogIMG_7736-1IMG_7778IMG_7669img_9508IMG_7704barrelltennroomimg_9447img_9495IMG_7709Lodging_CampingBigField_WebBarneyIMG_7801IMG_7779We used to have a pet deer running around the farm — Willard. We named “him” before we fond out that he was a actually a SHE! Barney always said he “never wanted anything he had to feed” but she sure did like milk and lots of it. We even had neighbors bringing milk by. See Willard below and his “stepsister” Christy when she was just a baby deer. We sure do miss you Willard girl!
